Top 5 Reasons to Donate to Goodwill Movement.

Inspired by ‘ Ten Reasons Why People Don’t Donate to Charity’ , the Goodwill movement sets out five reasons why donating to this charity is a good idea.

1 – I already Give enough to my Local Community, and I am not from the region

It might be the case, and hats off to you for donating to other causes, however since the Goodwill Movement is focused on one leading cause, to further disabled rights in Gilgit Baltistan, donors will feel more personal satisfaction that work is being done on the ground by our team, individuals who have disablities themselves.

2. Given that the charity is working for a particular cause that has been ignored for decades, how do I know if my donation will achieve anything?

We regularly get asked these questions, and we do sympathize but trust us if it were not for this organization starting to advocate at the GB Level, disablity rights would have been ignored for much more. We personally look at a donation as a step towards social progress, not to be the end goal of itNo donation is small. No Donation. Reminder: 𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 £5 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆, 𝑮𝑩𝑮𝑴 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒊𝒗𝒆 1800 𝑷𝑲𝑹.

3. OK Fair enough. I have seen your articles. Some of them which I liked. I can agree with some of them, but how is it different from what other organizations do? What is your success rate?

This is usually one of the questions we had to tackle and still are tackling. GBGM’s vision is simple: promoting an inclusive society for all disabled people. Though we have not achieved typical ‘ success ’, we have though. One has to consider the circumstances in which they are living in. Gilgit can not be compared to New York or London for that matter. We are an organization that is looking for a long-term solution rather than a short-term solution.

4. Where can I get more information about your projects? How can I access reports and documents of the Goodwill Movement?

As this is a website where it can be corrupted, tons of our reports and project materials are offline. GBGM has a Specific Cloud Drive where it saves information; in other words, information is available on request.

5. I am a donor that is fully committed to other organizations and came across this; how could I make sure that the GBGM team would be of a similar mindset?

We do get that actions speak louder than words, and we are a new organization, so we will learn; however if you are still unsure, don’t hesitate to get in touch with one of the team personally who can guide you about our organisation.
