Helping a disabled family

Shamsher Khan, a resident of the picturesque village of Sher Qilla in the Ghizer district, is enduring significant hardships. A devastating flood destroyed his land, property, and home, leaving him in a dire situation. Now disabled, Shamsher Khan struggles with his health, having undergone two major surgeries. He has difficulty walking, with trembling hands and feet making everyday tasks challenging. His wife works tirelessly as a laborer to support their family, but they face severe financial strain, living in a rented house in Gilgit and struggling to cover expenses and rent.

Despite these challenges, Shamsher Khan has made tremendous efforts to ensure his eldest son, Shamsuddin, receives an education. However, the financial burden has taken a toll on Shamsuddin’s mental health. Shamsher Khan’s daughter, who has speech difficulties, and his younger son, who attends a government school, also face obstacles due to the family’s financial constraints.

The GBGM organization, dedicated to helping disabled individuals and those in dire need, has stepped in to assist Shamsher Khan’s family. They have provided rations and financial assistance to alleviate their immediate distress. GBGM is committed to helping Shamsher Khan’s family regain their footing and improve their quality of life, including funding Shamsuddin’s essential mental health therapy sessions.

To continue this crucial support, GBGM is launching a fundraising campaign. We appeal to all compassionate individuals to donate generously to the GBGM account. Your contributions will fund Shamsuddin’s therapy sessions and help cover the family’s basic needs, such as food and rent. Join us in this noble cause and make a significant impact on a disabled family in desperate need. Your donations will bring relief, hope, and a chance for a better future to Shamsher Khan’s household.
